This young boy talks about cybersecurity with great vigor, he is enchanted and all the successes he has achieved so far is enough to prove his ability. The name has emerged as a big moral-hacker and security expert not only in India but across the world. It helps the Government of India, the institutions that establish law and order, and large private organizations to secure their data and websites.
Benild Joseph was born into a middle class family in Wayanad, Kerala. When he was three years old, he had to lose his father because of a bad kidney. Being small, he used to go to office with his mother. By the time he was younger, his mother could manage him, but when he grew up, he used to make a lot of noise in the office. At that point her mother made a drastic decision, leaving them for a few hours to play games at a computer center near the office. This trend continued for many years and Benild befriended the computer.
When Benild was in seventh grade, he completely orchestrated the social networking site Orkut and started thinking about how it would have been developed.
He says that “then I learned that my interest in technology, programming and coding has developed.”
When Benild reached the Navami class, he created his own social networking site ‘Banjukut’. For his efforts, 14-year-old Benild was named in the Limca Book of Records. Because of this, they got international recognition and they went into the depths of technology. His second feat was to hack his friend’s email ID. He used to go to Calicut, 100 kilometers from his home, to learn more about hacking. There his teacher used to explain to him the importance of moral hacker. He then gave up the idea of hacking his friends’ emails. Along with his engineering studies, Bainild used to work about 13 courses equally hard and spend a lot of time in practice.
Today, Benild has served in the Indian government’s cyberspace, many state governments and dozens of private companies.
“I do not tell people that I am a hacker because they get it wrong. And when I tell them differently that I am a cyber security expert, then they get influenced by me. ” – Benild
Benild, a fan of traveling, has just settled in Bengaluru and is working on a number of security projects; Such as the Cybercrime Investigation Bureau, Indian Information Security Research Organization, International Cyber Threat Task Force and Cyber Security Forum Initiative etc.
Benild has achieved this goal by pursuing his passion and removing the obstacles he faces. He is also a speaker who speaks at IITs and other reputed institutions. They want to make the country’s e-fiber impregnable by bringing all cyber security experts on one platform. The skills of hacking have been spared by Benild in an able-to-get-together.
