Gold, Silver Price today: There has been a big fall in the prices of gold and silver. On Tuesday, gold fell by Rs 679 to Rs 44,760 per ten grams in Delhi Sarafa Bazar. Similarly, the price of silver also declined by Rs. 1,847 to Rs. 67,073 per kg. Experts believe that the impact of the rupee’s strength and the pressure on bullion prices in the international market was seen in the domestic market.
In the last trading session, the price of gold in the bullion market came to Rs 45,439 per ten grams. Silver prices were recorded at Rs 68,920 per kg.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel says that due to the fall in gold in the global market and strengthening rupee, the spot price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs 679 per ten grams. Patel says that the Indian rupee was trading at a strength of around 14 paise against the US dollar during the spot day.
In the international market, there was pressure on gold and silver prices. Gold was down at $ 1,729 an ounce. At the same time, the price of silver fell to $ 26.08 an ounce.
Gold futures also break
Gold futures fell 0.34 per cent to Rs 45,155 per ten grams due to low demand in the spot price. The participants of the futures market have reduced holdings due to the fall in spot demand. In the trading turnover of 13,887 lots on MCX, April delivery gold futures fell by Rs 153 to Rs 45,155.
