Ravi Jain’s father Ashok Jain is a businessman and uncle Tarachand Jain is the chairman of the Jharkhand State Digambar Jain Religious Trust Board. The result of the Civil Services Examination 2019-20 was declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in which Ravi Jain of Deoghar got the 9th rank.
- UPSC topper Ravi Jain passed the matriculation examination in the year 2005 from St. Francis School Deoghar with 85 percent marks.
- Then in 2007 UPSC topper, Ravi Jain passed the Intermediate from Amity School Delhi with 85 percent marks.
- In 2012, he passed engineering from Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, Delhi with 70 percent marks.
- Subsequently, UPSC Ravi Jain worked as an engineer at BECIL, Gurgaon, an American company from 2012 to 2015 in the same year.
- In 2015, he quit his job as an engineer and started preparing for UPSC. In 2019, Ravi Jain passed the BPSC exam.

Ravi Jain is working as a Sales Tax Officer in Jamui, Bihar. Ashok Kumar Jain, the father of UPSC topper Ravi Jain, is a businessman and mother Mangala Jain is a homemaker. Ravi Jain’s great uncle Tara Chand Jain is the chairman of the Jharkhand State Digambar Jain Religious Trust Board. Ravi Jain is the youngest son of the house. Apart from these, Ravi Jain has 3 elder sisters in his family.
At the same time, Ravi Jain’s elder sister is employed in America. Ravi Jain states that in the year September 2019, UPSC took the civil services written test and interviewed the personality test in 2020. The Commission then released its final list on the basis of merit, in which they received the 9th rank in entire India. At the same time, Ravi says that when the news of the announcement of the result came, he went to Jamui on duty. Ravi told that when his result came, there was an atmosphere of celebration in the family. After this, the entire family decorated the house with flowers for Ravi’s arrival. Drums and bells rang as soon as Ravi arrived. He was very well received. The women of his family prayed to him.

After this Ravi Jain went to Lord Mahabir temple and took his blessings. All the members of Ravi Jain’s family shared their happiness with sweets and dhol.
