During this time he came to know that there is an institute in Odisha called CIFA i.e. Central Institute of Fresh Water Aquaculture (a new wing under ICAR), which teaches skills of oyster farming.
Started at 30-35 thousand rupees and now earning 50 lakhs
Narendra further states that he knew as much about oyster farming as he had read or had been told by people. That is why he considered it necessary to take training before he started farming and reached the headquarters of the Central Institute of Fresh Water Aquaculture (CIFA), which is in Orissa. After returning from there, Narendra started his unit of making pearl from oyster with a small amount of 30-35 thousand rupees. Today he is earning and teaching other people.
