Ayushmann Khurrana’s film came out in the year 2012. The name was Vicky Donor. However, the life of a person changed after this film. That person had not made any plan before that. But, after watching the film, he also became a sperm donor.
Human of Bombay has shared the story of a man who is a sperm donor in real life. He is a resident of Goa and has written in detail how he became a sperm donor.
I thought it was joking. I have seen the Vicky Donor movie. But, Ayushman does not do this in ordinary life. It was a film. I thought it only in my mind. But, the truth was also that there is a couple who are very needy. I could help him a lot. Thinking this out, I got ready. But, I still had my doubts.
I asked the doctor a question. Will the child come, look like me. The doctor replied, donating sperm does not mean that you are going to be a father. In such a situation, I signed the consent form. Some blood tests took place and sperm count was tested.
I was told not to consume any kind of alcohol or cigarettes for the next 10 days. I was very distraught. Would I like to know my child? Will I get a filling with parents? I went through all these questions all night.
When I went to the clinic again and started giving samples, I was completely shaken. The doctor took me to the restroom. I was unable to focus. It was a challenge that I could set the mood to do it. There were some magazines who were helping me. When I completed the task, I gave the container to the nurse.
It was a huge aud process .. But, I got 1500 rupees at the end of it. I was happy that I have probably helped fulfill the dream of a couple. A few months later I got a call from the clinic. It said that with the help of my sperm, the woman has conceived.
I was shocked I wanted to meet the couple. What is a child’s gender. I started requesting the doctor to know all these things. But, the doctor replied, he has thanked you.
However, after some time I donated again and another child was conceived. This filling was a bit more. I did not tell anyone that I am a sperm donor. I was a little scared about it. After taking help of 2 couples, I took a break.
During this time, I got married. Today we have a child of our own. While watching the movie Vicky Donor, I once told my wife everything. I said, I also want to donate myself. He said, yes you should. I hope that when she sees this, she will accept my truth.
He says, I still want to donate to those people who are unable to conceive. It is a pleasant feeling in itself. As the doctor tells Ayushmann Khurana in the film, this work is legal. Not only from today but from Mahabharata time.
