Actually, Sarma had recently made controversial remarks on Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. After this, Sarma targeted the Congress leader and said that Jinnah’s ghost has entered the Congress leader. He said, it seems to him (Congress leader Rahul Gandhi) that India is only from Gujarat to West Bengal. I am watching what he has been saying in the last 10 days. Once he said that India is a union of states. Second time they say that Bharat means from Gujarat to Bengal.

He further said that, I am saying that Jinnah’s ghost has entered Rahul Gandhi, I said this in Uttarakhand. Rahul Gandhi’s language is similar to that of Jinnah before 1947. In a way, Rahul Gandhi is a modern Jinnah.
