King Charles III: The police detained a 23-year-old man on Wednesday for tossing eggs at King Charles and Queen Consort, Camilla, as they had been on a walkabout in York. He was taken into custody on suspicion of upsetting the peace.
As the King and the Queen consort had been being greeted by municipal officers when the accused, a University of York scholar, was overheard yelling, “This country was created on the blood of slaves,” and “not my king,” whereas hurling the eggs.
The monarch, nonetheless, ignored the person as he was led away from the scene, and the eggs missed him.

According to the sources, the establishment declared that it was “appalled” by the pictures and will probably be evaluating the matter in accordance with its misconduct processes.
