“Queen Elizabeth II was a stateswoman of unmatched dignity and fidelity who deepened the bedrock alliance between the United Kingdom and the United States. She helped make our relationship particular.
“She helped Americans commemorate both the anniversary of the founding of Jamestown and the bicentennial of our independence.
“And she stood in solidarity with the United States throughout our darkest days after 9/11, when she poignantly reminded us that, ‘grief is the value we pay for love’.”
And reflecting on various conferences together with her, President Biden stated: “She charmed us with her wit, moved us with her kindness, and generously shared with us her wisdom.”
The Queen met 13 of the final fourteen presidents.
From Truman, Eisenhower and Kennedy to Bush, Obama and Trump, she knew all of them and charmed all of them.
Reflecting on her passing, President Clinton stated: “She led Britain through great transformations with unfailing grace, dignity, and genuine care for the welfare of all its people.
“In sunshine or storm, she was a supply of stability, serenity, and power.”
In his assertion, President George W Bush stated: “Our world benefitted from her steady resolve, and we are grateful for her decades of service as sovereign. Americans in particular appreciate her strong and steadfast friendship.”

And President Trump mirrored on assembly her: “Melania and I will always cherish our time together with the Queen, and never forget Her Majesty’s generous friendship, great wisdom, and wonderful sense of humour.
“What a grand and beautiful lady she was – there was nobody like her.”
The so-called ‘particular relationship’ was one she fostered by many presidencies.

At the White House and on Capitol Hill, the Stars and Stripes was lowered to half-mast.
She was above the turbulent geopolitics of the a long time she reigned by, and but so usually was compelled to navigate all of it.
Perhaps her diplomatic adeptness was greatest summed up by President Clinton who as soon as wrote: “Her Majesty impressed me as someone who, but for the circumstance of her birth, might have become a successful politician or diplomat.
“As it was, she needed to be each, with out fairly seeming to be both.”
