Punjab Politics: Captain Amarinder Singh, who left the post of CM of Punjab a month ago, has made a big political explosion. Captain Amarinder Singh announced on Tuesday that he would soon form his own political party. Through this, he will contest the assembly elections to be held after 4 months.
Captain’s media advisor Raveen Thukral tweeted that a new party will be announced soon to serve the interests of Punjab and its people, including farmers. The captain has also spoken of a conditional alliance with the BJP. The captain had given indications of forming a new party only after he was removed from the post of CM.

The former CM said that he would consider sharing seats with the BJP if the ongoing dispute over all three agriculture laws is resolved in the interest of farmers before the Punjab Assembly elections to be held early next year. The captain said that he is also looking at the possibility of an alliance with like-minded parties such as the separated Akali groups, especially the Dhindsa and Brahmapura factions.

The Captain said that till the time I do not secure the future of my people and my state, I will not rest in peace. Punjab needs political stability and protection from internal and external threats. I promise my people that I will do everything to ensure its peace and security.
He said that his focus would be to form the government in Punjab after winning the 2022 assembly elections. In case of any ideological problem with BJP, Amarinder Singh said that he stands with Punjab. For them the interests of Punjab are above all.
Let us inform that after leaving the chair of CM, Amarinder met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Due to which speculation intensified that he may join the BJP. However, later he dismissed all these speculations outright.
