In the Modi government, the new Information and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has joined the indigenous social media platform ‘Koo’ on Sunday. Ashwini Vaishnav made the first post on Ku about the new IT rules, in which he has described the rules as strong and user-protective. IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav wrote in the first post on Koo that he reviewed the implementation and compliance of Information Technology Rules 2021 with Minister of State Rajiv Chandrasekhar.
In the post, he said that the new rules will empower and protect users. Also ensure a safe and responsible social media environment in India.
This post on IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav Ku comes after Twitter India on Sunday finally appointed Vinay Prakash as Grievance Officer in India, following the new IT rules, after a long tussle.

It is a micro blogging platform like Twitter. It is available as a website and on iOS and Google Play Store. You can post your thoughts publicly here and also follow other users. Posts from other users are shown in a feed. Here the character limit is 400. One can sign up for Ku using his mobile number. Users also have the option to link their Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter feeds to Ku profiles.
