- LCB got success in tracing 85 people
Akola. Conceived by Superintendent of Police G.Sridhar, the local crime branch team has managed to track down 85 people in a span of ten days from December 20 to 31 under Operation Muskaan. Employees of other police stations of the district have also contributed significantly in this campaign. ‘Operation Muskaan’ has really brought a smile on the faces of those who were away from their families for many days. Due to which now a wave of happiness has run in the lives of these people.
District Superintendent of Police G. Sridhar has started an innovative campaign named ‘Operation Muskaan’. Under which the missing children, girls, women and men are being searched at various places of the district including Akola city. For the past several years, complaints of missing women, men and children have been received from all police stations in the district. A complaint was lodged under Operation Muskaan to investigate these complaints. For this, District Superintendent of Police G.
Sridhar prepared a personal drive. For this, two employees of each police station were recruited with the help of local crime branch and unethical human trafficking control room. For this the period was fixed from 20 to 31 December 2021. This Tim took action on the missing persons report received at the police station. Under which 85 people were traced. This includes kidnapping of 3 girls and 58 women and 24 men. Seeing the success of this campaign, Operation Muskaan will be an innovative campaign once a month for the foreseeable future.
