Xiaomi has launched two new laptops in India. Both Mi Notebook Pro and Mi Notebook Ultra were launched on Thursday afternoon during Mi Smarter Living 2022. These are the second generation Mi Notebook laptops and will replace last year’s Mi Notebook 14. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the new line-up will replace last year’s series. This means that all the machines of the Mi Notebook 14 series will be sold only till the stock runs out.

Both the laptops were introduced with Mi Band 6, Mi TV 5X and a few more products. All the devices were launched during an online event. The major upgrade on the new Mi Notebook laptop is the backlit keyboard which was missing from the previous Xiaomi laptops. The machines also come with 3.2k display and 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake processor.

Mi Notebook Ultra and Notebook Pro Price

Mi Notebook Pro price in India starts at Rs 56,999 for 8GB RAM variant with Core i5 processor, Rs 59,999 for 16GB RAM with Core i5 processor and Rs 72,999 for 16GB RAM variant with Core i7 processor. Mi Notebook Ultra price in India starts at Rs 59,999 for the 8GB RAM variant with Core i5 processor, Rs 63,999 for the 16GB RAM variant with Core i5 processor and Rs 76,999 for the 16GB RAM variant with Core i7 processor.

Mi Notebook Ultra Features

Mi Notebook Ultra is the more premium of both the laptops. It features a 15.6-inch 3.2k (or WQHD+) display with 90Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. Its peak brightness is 300 nits. The laptop also supports DC dimming to reduce flickering under light. It will be available in two GPU options. Users can choose between the 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake Core i5 or Core i7 variants here. There is also an option to choose between 8GB or 16GB of RAM. Its internal storage is 512GB.

The laptop weighs 1.7 kg and is 17.9 mm thick. It is available in a single Lustrous Gray color variant, has a backlit keyboard and a built-in 720p webcam. Xiaomi has also placed a fingerprint scanner above the power button.
For connectivity, you get a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 2.0 port and an HDMI port. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. In this, the audio is taken care of through two 2W speaker systems with DTS audio support. The laptop packs a 70WHr battery which is claimed to give 12 hours of backup. It comes with 65W fast charger.

Mi Notebook Pro Features

The Mi Notebook Pro has the same features as the Ultra variant. However, it comes with a 14-inch IPS anti-glare display with 2.5k resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It can support refresh rate up to 60Hz. A 56WHr battery has been used in this, which is claimed to give a backup of 11 hours.

Mi Band 6

The price of Mi Band 6 in India has been kept at Rs 3,499. The price of the band is more than the Mi Band 5 and is almost as much as the Redmi Watch. The Mi Band 6 comes with an interchangeable strap that is available in six different color options – Black, Orange, Olive, Yellow, Ivory and Blue. All these straps have to be purchased separately. The fitness band features a 1.56-inch AMOLED display with over 60 band faces that can be customized using the Mi Wear app. It supports both Android and iOS.

Mi Band 6 comes with 30 fitness modes. The band also offers SpO2 monitoring which allows you to measure your blood-oxygen levels. Mi Band 6 also comes with sleep tracking. It has heart rate monitoring and uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The fitness band comes with a total battery life of 14 days and a charger inside the box. In this you get 5ATM water resistant.
