New Delhi: The Andhra Pradesh Police is going to destroy about 2 lakh kilograms of ganja confiscated during the action. Its police and state home department officials have made full preparations. Apart from this, a special campaign ‘Operation Parivartan’ is underway to crack down on the cultivation of bald in the state. The operation is led by the Andhra Pradesh Police in collaboration with the Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) in Visakhapatnam.
In Andhra Pradesh, about two lakh kilograms of ganja were confiscated while being shipped out of the state after harvest. As per reports, the objective of Operation Parivartan is to stop the supply of ganja in the state. It is being told that the value of two lakh kg of confiscated ganja is around Rs 500 crore in the market. The police have made all preparations to destroy it. A video of the preparation has also surfaced on social media in which preparations can be seen to destroy a huge quantity of ganja in a large ground. The video is going viral on social media.
