Indian team gave a target of 305 runs to South Africa to win. But, South Africa’s team could not stand in front of the fast bowlers of India. Chasing this target, South Africa’s team was all out for 191 runs in the second innings. And India created history by winning the first match of the series.
India’s deadly fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah also achieved a milestone on the fourth day of the first Test match being played in Centurion. He bowled Dussen (Rassie Van der Dussen) to become the first bowler for India to get the fastest 100 wickets in overseas ground.

Not only this, the history of international cricket shows that he also became the 11th bowler in the world to do so. Before Jasprit Bumrah, 10 bowlers of India have taken 100 or more than 100 wickets in foreign grounds, but Jasprit Bumrah is at the top in terms of taking the fastest 100 wickets for India.
It is worth noting that Jasprit Bumrah has played a difference in his career in foreign grounds, taking 100 wickets in just 22 matches. Before Jasprit, this record was recorded in the name of former Indian cricket team bowler BS Chandrasekhar. History testifies that during his career, BS Chandrasekhar made a record of taking 100 wickets on foreign soil in the 25th match played on foreign grounds.
Significantly, Jasprit Bumrah is playing the 25th Test match of his career. He has taken 101 wickets in 48 innings of 28 matches played so far. In Test cricket, Jasprit holds the record of taking 4 wickets twice and 5 wickets 6 times.
