Covid-19 India Update: In the last 24 hours ending at 8 am on Sunday, 41,157 new cases of corona have been reported in India. The number of active cases has come down slightly to 4.22 lakh. Kerala has seen the maximum number of new cases (16,148 cases) in one and a half months. On Sunday, 518 new deaths have been reported in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths, followed by Kerala.
Meanwhile, the players of India are ready to participate in the Tokyo Olympics. The first case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Games Village on Saturday, raising concerns ahead of the opening ceremony. After the positive case, the organizers of the Olympics have asked every team to take extra precautions.
Apart from this, the Delhi Drugs Control Department told the Delhi High Court that it has initiated prosecution against Gautam Gambhir Foundation and AAP MLAs Imran Hussain and Praveen Kumar.
