Campaign for law and order in elections
SP Avinash Bargal told in the Patra Parishad that for the purpose of maintaining law and order in the upcoming zip-nap elections, a special campaign was run for 4 days between 12 to 16 December against criminals and record holders with criminal tendencies. In which 251 accused were detained after taking action against 248 illicit liquor. From which goods worth Rs 8,46,835 were seized.
Similarly, 164 accused were arrested by doing 107 cases of gambling and Worli. From whom goods worth Rs 680112 were seized. At the same time, 29 arrest warrants, 9 standing warrants and 10 accused were taken into custody. 12 actions were taken for illegal gutkha and 11 illegal sand. In this campaign, SP, ASP, SDPO, 31 SHO, 164 officers and 668 employees participated.
