Indian Railways Festive Special Trains: Due to festivals, if more passengers travel by rail, then the railway prepares it first and runs extra trains for some time. These are then extended further according to the circumstances. In this episode, Eastern Railway is increasing the operation of some festival special trains for three more months, whose time and station stop will be the same as before. The list of these trains is given below and the booking of the up-direction trains will be available from 8 am on March 18 through Internet and PRS counters.
Last year due to Corona epidemic, the operation of trains was completely stopped which was started gradually. However, the Railways is still not operating at full capacity. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal had tweeted a few days ago that about 80 per cent Mail Express train has started and 91 per cent suburban train has been started. Apart from this, passenger trains are starting slowly.
