Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF on Thursday arrested 2 terrorists in connection with the property dealer murder. The terrorists were identified as Suhail Qadir Khande resident of Tral and Suhail Mushtaq Waza resident of Niklora, Pulwama. Police have recovered pistol, manganese and live cartridges from both of them.
Central Kashmir Range DIG Sujit Kumar said, “On December 22, 2021, Rouf Ahmed, a property dealer, was killed by 4 terrorists in Safakadal area. After registering a case, the Srinagar Police and CRPF have arrested 2 terrorists, who were associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Arrested terrorists identified as Suhail Qadir Khanday R/O Tral, Pulwama & Suhail Mushtaq Waza R/O Niklora, Pulwama. So far 4 pistols, 8 pistol magazines, 99 live rounds, 2 pistol silencers recovered They’ve also identified 2 associates, who’ve been arrested: DIG CKR Sujit Kumar

He said that, “The arrested terrorists were identified as Suhail Qadir Khande resident of Tral and Suhail Mushtaq Waza resident of Niklora, Pulwama. 4 pistols, 8 magazines, 99 live cartridges, 2 pistol silencers were recovered from them. They have also identified 2 other accomplices, who were also arrested.”

The DIG said that, “The arrested terrorists have revealed that they were working in Srinagar on the instructions of Asif Maqbool Dar and Sajjad Gul. Both handlers from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were providing weapons and money. He has conducted recce of Delhi Police and NIA Headquarters in New Delhi.”
