Lucknow : In the campaign for the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh, this time there has been a lot of enticing promises with free electricity. On the lines of Delhi, cheap and free electricity has now emerged as the biggest tool to woo voters in the upcoming assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh. Aam Aadmi Party Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has promised to give them 1000 rupees per month as against the Congress’s bid for a separate manifesto for women.
Addressing his party’s first election rally in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow on Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that if the Aam Aadmi Party forms the government, he will give 1000 rupees per month to all women above 18 years of age. Kejriwal said, give me a chance, I will build a school and a hospital in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister of Delhi said that if you want employment and free electricity then vote for Aam Aadmi Party and if you don’t want give it to Yogi Adityanath. He also made a scathing attack on Yogi Adityanath for the management of Corona and said that he got UP done all over the world.

Delhi’s Kejriwal, who reached Lucknow to get power in UP, reached Lucknow and sought votes for the Aam Aadmi Party. Making an election promise, CM Kejriwal said, if the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed, all women above 18 years of age will be given 1000 rupees every month. CM Kejriwal said that if women will get one thousand rupees, then they will get a new sari and suit, girls of women from poor families will be able to invest this money in their studies, but why is BJP objecting to this. Kejriwal said, give me a chance, I will build a school and a hospital in UP.
Yogi Adityanath not only got graveyards built but also sent people to graveyards: Kejriwal
CM Yogi has spent crores of rupees on the advertisement of America’s biggest magazine. Taking a jibe at Yogi’s posters in Delhi regarding the UP elections, CM Kejriwal said, AAP has 106 posters and Yogi’s 850 in Delhi, I do not understand whether Yogi is contesting from UP or from Delhi. Attacking the BJP, SP-BSP and Congress, he said, in UP, the previous governments only built graveyards. In the last five years, Yogi Adityanath not only got graveyards built but also sent people to the graveyards.
Promise to provide free electricity to domestic consumers
On the other hand, Congress including Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party have all promised free electricity to domestic consumers if they win the elections in Uttar Pradesh. First of all, on the lines of Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party promised to provide 300 units of free electricity in Uttar Pradesh, but now all the opposition parties have jumped in this race.
Free electricity for irrigation to farmers
Samajwadji Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on New Year promised the people of the state to provide 300 units of free electricity if the government is formed. He has also promised free electricity to the farmers for irrigation. The SP chief says that in the party’s manifesto to be released soon, 300 units of free electricity every month for domestic consumers and free electricity for irrigation to farmers will be mentioned.
400 units of free electricity is being provided
On Sunday itself, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced in Varanasi that free electricity would be given if the Congress government was formed in Uttar Pradesh. In a conference in Varanasi, he said that 400 units of free electricity are being given to the people in Chhattisgarh and will now give these gifts if the government is formed in Uttar Pradesh. Congress General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi had earlier announced to waive the electricity bill during the Corona period if the party government was formed.
