Delhi Police has also closed NH-24 to prevent people from participating in the protest.

Meanwhile, violence erupted on the Singhu border on Friday when three groups of security barricades were broken into by a group of 200 people, who claim that the peasant movement has impacted their livelihoods. Stones were fired on each other from both sides. After this, the Delhi Police said that 44 people, including a 22-year-old man, who attacked the sub-inspector with a sword and has been arrested.
