New Delhi: A case has been registered against Sant Kalicharan Maharaj for using derogatory words against Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament of Religions. According to ANI, a case has been registered by the police in Chhattisgarh against Sant Kalicharan Maharaj for using derogatory words against Mahatma Gandhi at the ‘Dharma Sansad’ held in Raipur on December 26.
In fact, during an event on Sunday, religious leader Kalicharan Maharaj had allegedly used derogatory words for the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. A video of his statement is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Since the video went viral, his statement is being criticized all round. Various political parties have criticized Kalicharan Maharaj.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticized Sant Kalicharan Maharaj’s alleged remarks and quoted Mahatma Gandhi and said on Monday that his views cannot be imprisoned. Rahul, the Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad, made the remarks in the wake of a section of Hindu religious leaders praising Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse during a religious function in Raipur on Sunday.
