WardhaEducation Department has declared the date of 10th and 12th board examinations. Only two and a half months are left for the examinations. Till now 25 to 30 percent syllabus is yet to be taught in schools and colleges. Will students be able to complete their studies and revision in such a short time? Concerns are being expressed among students and parents regarding this.
Schools and colleges were closed for two years due to Corona. In this academic session, studies have resumed due to less infection of Corona. Last year and for some months of this year, online education was given to save the academic loss of the students. Due to the technical constraints in online education, questions have been raised on the quality. A conducive environment is created in the classroom for concentration, studies. But this environment is not created at home.
Often students did not participate voluntarily in e-learning. The physical presence of the children in the online class was many times. Hence the confusion created between online and offline has resulted in serious consequences on the quality of education. Offline schools and colleges have started from October. But, the teachers needed to work hard to sharpen the intellectual abilities of the students.
Examination in school and college did not happen for two years
The students who appeared for class 10th examination this year have moved to higher classes in the next class without appearing in class 8th and 9th. Therefore, after the seventh examination, these students are going to have a direct 10th board examination. Hence it will be difficult for the students to acquire the writing speed and skill to complete the board exam paper on time. In most schools and junior colleges, 25 to 30 per cent of the syllabus is yet to be taught in the textbooks of class 10th and 12th. Also, the annual examinations up to class 11 were canceled for two years. Due to the cancellation of board exams of class 10th and 12th last year, there is a need to inculcate the mindset of the students to face the exam.
Exam will start in March
Recently, the Education Department has announced the dates of 10th and 12th board examinations. The 12th examination has been conducted from March 4 to April 7, the 10th board examination has been conducted from March 15 to April 18. Due to which the students have less time. Along with completing the syllabus in this less time, they will have to prepare for the board exam along with increasing their ability to write.
The Health Department has warned of the same second and third wave of corona. In such a situation, the responsibility of increasing the mental morale of the students will be on the parents. Due to which this year’s examination will be a challenge for the students and parents.
