Mumbai: Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray has become active to reduce pollution in Mahul, one of the most polluted areas of Mumbai. Aaditya Thackeray on Thursday held a meeting with local MLA Prakash Fatarpekar, officials of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and representatives of various oil companies and stressed on reducing pollution.
Mahul is that area of Mumbai which remains in the headlines due to pollution. There are a large number of refineries and petroleum companies. During oil processing, smoke from chimneys always removes pollution.
