Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit presented the prestigious Atal Ratna Award to Dr. Virendra Tiwari, a doctor from Mumbai, at Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon Hall of Vidhan Bhavan. This honor, given by the News Paper Trust of India every year on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has been given to Dr. Tiwari for his long-term medical services.
Uttar Pradesh State Accredited Correspondent Committee President Hemant Tiwari, senior journalists Suresh Bahadur Singh, Siddharth Geese, TB Singh and many administrative officers and employees of the Assembly Secretariat were present in the honor ceremony. In the award ceremony, Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit, while narrating the memoirs of Atal ji, spoke about his eloquence and commitment to moral values.

After receiving the Atal Ratna Award, Dr. Tiwari said that it is a matter of pride for him to have the honor established in the name of revered Atal ji in his home state. He said that he would always be available to serve the people of Uttar Pradesh.
