The possibility is high. It was told in the report that due to rising greenhouse gas, sea level is rising. Simultaneously, the impact of cyclone over Mumbai is going to be very high, both pre and post-monsoon cyclones will increase. India has a coastline of 7,500 km along which most of the megacities like Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai are located. Therefore, due to rising sea level, storm waves, cyclones and rising sea surface temperature are all considered to be high risk factors for Mumbai.
