Audi Q5 Facelift: Audi India has announced the launch date of the new Q5 facelift. German car maker Audi India will launch the new Audi Q5 facelift in India on November 23, 2021. The Q5 is making a comeback in India in a new facelifted avatar. It was discontinued at the beginning of the year 2020 due to BS6 rules. After almost a year and a half, it is making a comeback again. However, like most new-age Audi cars, the new Q5 facelift will also get a petrol-only variant. The booking for the same is already open and one can book it on Audi India website or at their nearest Audi dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 2 lakh.

The new Audi Q5 facelift has received many changes inside and out, along with some mechanical changes, many new features have also been given. In terms of design, the facelifted Q5 gets a new grille with six vertical chrome slats and updated bumpers. The luxury SUV also gets new slimmer all-LED headlamps with LED DRLs. Talking about the side profile, 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels can be seen in it. At the rear, it gets LED taillamps with chrome accents.

Audi Q5 facelift engine
Talking about the powertrain, the new Audi Q5 facelift will be powered by a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This motor generates 249hp power and 370Nm peak torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Talking about the features, it gets a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech.
This premium SUV also gets Virtual Cockpit Plus (Digital Instrument Cluster), Wireless Charger, Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D Sound System etc. Talking about the safety features, it gets eight airbags, ABS with EBD, a rear parking camera with front and reverse parking sensors. The new Audi Q5 facelift will be offered in two trim levels Premium Plus and Technology in India. After launch, this car will compete with Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 etc.
