A Cambridge taxi driver faces prices of indecent assault and battery and kidnapping after a witness instructed MBTA Transit Police that he noticed the driving force touching an incapacitated passenger inappropriately.

Bereket Meshesha, 44, was arraigned Monday in Chelsea District Court on the fees of indecent assault and battery and kidnapping. Meshesha is being held in lieu of the $20,000 bail set by Judge Jane Prince. Prince ordered Meshesha to give up his passport and keep away from the sufferer, ought to he put up bail.
