According to property consultant firm Knight Frank, the highest price of houses has increased in Turkey. In January-March 2021, its prices have increased by 32 percent here. It is at the top of the ranking made on the basis of increase in prices. India has gained only one place. Last year it was at number 56 but this year it reached number 55. Below this is only Spain. Property consultant firm Knight Frank on Thursday released its research report ‘Global House Price Index – Q1 2021’. In this, ranking is done on the basis of property prices in major markets of 56 countries.

India and Spain are the worst
The highest price of houses increased in Turkey. Here their prices increased by 32 percent. After this, the price of houses in New Zealand increased by 22.1 percent. In Luxembourg this increase was 16.6 percent. The worst condition was of India and Spain. India slipped 12 places to the 55th position in the first quarter of 2021. During January-March in 2020, it was at number 43. Between January and March 2021, residential property prices increased by only 1.4 per cent. The report said that since 2005, the highest increase in house prices has been in the US at 13.2 percent. Shishir Baijal, Chairman and MD, Knight Frank India, said that the first quarter of 2021 saw a decent increase in sales volumes. Due to this the prices of houses remained stable.
