Wardha. Maharashtra Group-K Services Combined Pre-Examination-2022 conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission was settled peacefully in the district, 2,263 candidates showed attendance for the examination held from 8 am to 1 pm on Sunday, while 551 candidates are reported to be absent. Along with tight police arrangements, flying squads kept a close watch on 9 sub-centres in schools and colleges of the city.
A total of 2,814 candidates had registered for the examination in the district. Independent sub-centre heads at 9 sub-centres in the city and officers of the District Magistrate and other offices, supervisors of employees, invigilators, clerks, constables etc. have been appointed as per the requirement.
The officers appointed at the examination center and the coordinating officers were appointed to coordinate with the examination-related treasury, head post office, police department etc. Apart from this, special officers (flying teams) were also appointed for supervision.
Strictly checked examinees
Serious attention was given to avoid copying or other unfair means in the examination, due to the enforcement of section 144 during the examination, mobile, pager, microphone, camera, tab, laptop, headphone, small camera, fitted on within 100 meters radius from the examination sub-centre The use of electronic items like watches, shirt buttons, pens, rings, spy cameras, smart watches, lenses, blue tooth etc. were banned. All the examinees at the examination center were checked by the police for the said examination supervision. Officials were also present, about 2,263 solved the papers at 9 centers in the district, while keeping in view the COVID-19, 551 candidates were reported absent, the special necessary measures plan was taken care of by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.
