- 1 accused’s health deteriorated
Gondia: All the 5 accused, who were arrested in the firing case on Civil Line resident Dhanendra Shriram Bhurle, were produced by the police on 1 February before the Civil Court Junior Level Judge RD Punse, where they were again given police custody till 3 February. . It should be noted that while returning home from the farm on the Katangi-Temani road at 5.30 pm on January 28, 3 unidentified accused, who had come on a motor cycle, opened fire.
In this case, on the complaint of the complainant, the police have arrested 5 accused by registering a case related to attempt to murder and Indian Arms Act. These accused include Uday Gopalani (39), resident of Civil Lines, Ganesh Jadhav (45), resident of Mama Chowk, Naresh Tarone (35), resident of Fulchur, Niraj Wadhwani (46) resident of Matatoli and Shivshankar Tarone, resident of Irri Navargaon. The police had demanded PCR by February 8. Present on behalf of the accused were Ed. Atul Vastani, Ed. Sumit Rajankar, Ed. P. T. Tolani, Ed. Vikas Karade, Ed. Mohandas Gupta and Ed. Mayank Gupta and Ed. Upvanshi opposed the police custody.
Keeping the government’s side in the court, Ed. Krishna Chaurasia told that the accused are refusing to tell the details of the incident. Similarly, the pistol used to fire at the complainant has to be recovered from the accused. Due to which the police custody was demanded till 8 February. But keeping in mind the opinion of the advocates of the accused, the judge has again given police custody till February 3.
In this case, the well being of Naresh Narayan Tarone, a resident of Fulchur, a captive accused, had deteriorated in the night. Due to which he has been given judicial custody. Not only this, he will be treated in Nagpur under the supervision of the police. In this case, the police have solved the mystery at their level. In this, one by one the evidence was collected with great skill.
Similarly, the police has also deposited sufficient cache of mobile locations, CDRs of all the accused. During the court proceedings, a large number of businessmen selling properties were present. Police Inspector Devidas Kathade of Ramnagar police station is investigating the matter.
