Pimpri: By pretending to give information about illegal sale of pistols by impersonating himself as the Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad, he has embezzled 24 thousand rupees from the officials of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. Police has arrested this thug from Mumbai. The arrested person has been identified as Khalilullah Ainullah Khan (40). Police Inspector Devendra Chavan has lodged a complaint against him at Chinchwad Police Station.
According to information received from the police, from December 8 to December 28, the accused Khan directly called the office telephone numbers of Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash as well as the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate in the control room. He asked Krishna Prakash’s mobile number saying that he is Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Vijay Singh and he had to inform about the illegal sale of pistols. Accordingly, he was given the number of Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash. After that he called again and said that I had called the police commissioner 25 times, but he did not answer my call.

Khan had earlier allegedly cheated several police officers in Mumbai and three cases have been registered against him in Mumbai. Chinchwad police is investigating the matter.
