In Maharashtra, under the COVID-19 vaccination in urban and rural areas, ASHA volunteers and group promoters are being made to work strictly from morning till evening. No compensation is given to ASHA volunteers and group promoters for this work. Based on the compensation element, the incentive allowance of one thousand rupees from the Central Government for the work of COVID-19 was stopped from October 2021, which the Central Government has issued orders to undo.
Arrange for payment on 5th of every month
The meager compensation, that too, due to not getting it on time, they have faced starvation, that’s why angry feelings are being created towards the government and administration. Asha volunteers and group promoters have become angry and on this side, by giving serious attention to the government, there is hope and hope. There is a demand for early payment of the outstanding honorarium of these four months to the faction promoters in October, November, December 2021 and January 2022.
Thalinad movement will be done on 14th
On behalf of the attached Maharashtra State Asha and Group Promoter Organization, Maharashtra Asha Group Promoter Federation (SITU) and Maharashtra State Asha Group Promoter Employees Kriti Samiti, the District Council will conduct a Thalinaad movement on February 14 at 11.30 am regarding the demands of ASHA and group promoters.
State Vice-President Dilip Utane has given a call to draw the attention of the administration including the Central and State Governments, State Secretaries Sujata Bhagat, Shabana Sheikh, Jyotsna Raut, Pratibha Waghmare, Pramila Wankhede, Rekha Teltubande, Veena Patil, Amrapali Burbure, Ranjana Fuljhale, Rekha Adamane, Jyotsna Munjewar, Manju Shende, Pratibha Jadhav, Sharda Jogve etc. have done it.
