Drivers on a highway in North Wales have been left confused by contradictory pace restrict indicators relying on which course they journey.
The signal on the suitable aspect of the highway mentioned it was a 20mph space whereas the one on the left was marked 30mph.
Visitors to Llannor, on the Llŷn Peninsula within the county of Gwynedd, had been greeted by the differing indicators upon getting into the village.
The native council couldn’t affirm the reason for the discrepancy however mentioned the indicators had now been rectified.
Several individuals shared their confusion on social media.
One mentioned he “had to do a double take when [he] spotted it”.
Another commented: “You’ll have to change the village’s name to ‘ThirtyNoMore’ instead of Llannor”.
A spokesperson for Gwynedd Council mentioned: “We can confirm the signs have now been rectified.”
The default pace restrict for built-up areas in Wales will lower from 30mph to 20mph subsequent month.
