A gaggle of between 100 or 200 younger bicyclists tore up the streets and parks of Cambridge and Boston Saturday afternoon and winded up being accused by a 7-11 retailer clerk of stealing about $350 in objects.
Boston Police have been first made conscious of the bicyclists once they responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Boylston Street for a number of reviews of youngsters and adults on bicycles and scooters blocking the intersection, in response to a division spokesman.
Police encountered the group across the 7-11 retailer at 141 Massachusetts Ave., the place a spokesman mentioned they have been partially blocking the sidewalk and a lane of visitors, and ordered them to disperse. The group headed again up Massachusetts Avenue towards Cambridge.
A clerk on the comfort retailer informed police that the kids “took an unknown amount of merchandise from his store without paying,” in response to police spokesman Officer Stephen McNulty. The clerk estimated the loss at $350.
