Gold and Silver Price Today: Amidst the weakness in the prices of gold and silver in the global markets and the strength of the rupee, there was a fall in the price of gold in the Delhi bullion market today, on Friday, January 28. Gold declined by Rs 423 to Rs 47,777 per 10 grams. HDFC Securities gave this information. Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 48,200 per 10 grams in the previous trading session.

Silver price also declined
There was a fall in the price of silver in the Delhi bullion market today. Its price declined by Rs 1,105. Due to this, the price of silver fell to Rs 61,652 per kg in the Delhi bullion market today. In the last trading session, it had closed at Rs 62,757 per kg.

Gold and silver prices in the international market
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “24 carat gold prices in Delhi have declined by Rs 423, reflecting overnight selloff in COMEX gold prices as well as strengthening of rupee.” On Friday, the Indian rupee closed at 75.05 with a marginal gain of 4 paise against the US dollar in morning trade. The price of gold was trading at USD 1,794 an ounce, down 0.15 per cent in COMEX trading on Friday.
