Nashik : Keeping in view the complaints about Shiv Bhojan Kendra, instructions to take strict action against Shiv Bhojan Kendra, which do not follow the rules, Food, Civil Supplies and Customer Protection Minister Chhagan Bhujbal ( Chhagan Bhujbal). Along with this, information was also given to the concerned department to prepare the separate of the officers to check the quality of the plate. He was addressing a meeting organized to take stock of Shiv Bhojan Thali scheme in a room of Mantralaya.
At this time, Secretary, Food-Civil Supplies Department Vijay Waghmare, Co-Secretaries Sudhir Tungar, Charushila Tambekar and other officers were present. Bhujbal further said, for effective implementation of Shivbhojan scheme, it has been planned to install CCTV at each Shivbhojan centre. Time has been given for this till January 31. But according to the demand of each Shiv Bhojan Kendra driver this work may get delayed. Therefore, the demand for extension of time was made by the drivers of Shiv Bhojan Kendra, keeping in mind that time has been extended by one month for installation of CCTV in each Shiv Bhojan Kendra.

But there have been complaints of misuse of this system. Therefore, for uploading photographs, a distance of 100 meters has been fixed from the Shivbhojan center. With the concept of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, this scheme was started on 26 January 2020, so that the poor citizens of the state should get a full meal for Rs 10. Till 9 February 2022, 8 crore 34 lakh 95 thousand 857 Shivbhojan thali were distributed. As of today, 1 thousand 521 Shiv Bhojan Kendras are started in the state. During the lockdown, 2.5 crore Shiv Bhojan Thali was distributed free of cost.
