Nagpur. The people of Vidarbha including Nagpur are upset due to the cancellation of the first winter session, now the budget session. They say that their issues will not be given importance in the budget session held in Mumbai. While the MLAs and ministers of the present government have remained silent on this matter, the opposition is calling it an insult to the capital. BJP MLAs allege that the local MLAs of the cabinet in which it was decided to cancel the budget session, who are currently in ministerial posts, should have boycotted the meeting. So that the budget session can be held in Nagpur. At present, politics has heated up in this matter. The BJP is making up its mind to protest in the coming time regarding this issue.
CM violating the rules
When Nagpur was made the sub-capital, it was decided that a session of the Legislature would be held every year in Nagpur, but CM Uddhav Thackeray is directly violating the rules. Illness is an excuse, in fact they do not want the real issues of Vidarbha to be discussed, resolved. It is the misfortune of the people of Vidarbha that there are 2 ministers in the cabinet of the government, but all have kept silence out of selfishness. He is afraid that his ministerial post may go away. Due to this the importance of the sub-capital is diminishing. The budget of 25 crores to be given to the capital’s capital has also been stopped. We oppose this injustice. -Krishna Khopde, MLA, BJP
Unethical alliance became canker
The immoral alliance running the state government has become a scourge for the people of Vidarbha. There should be one session in a year in the sub-capital Nagpur. But it is being postponed. CM Uddhav Thackeray fears that he will be asked sharp questions related to public interest. They will be exposed to the ground reality which they do not like. In the session to be held in Mumbai, they will make their own decisions. This is a direct betrayal of the people of Vidarbha. This injustice is happening since last 2 years. People will necessarily take revenge for this injustice. – Mohan Mate, MLA BJP
The government does not consider the people of Vidarbha as its own.
It seems from the policy of the government that Vidarbha is not a part of Maharashtra. For this reason, the budget session to be held in the sub-capital Nagpur has been cancelled. We want to ask why property tax exemption for houses up to 500 square feet has been given only in Mumbai, why other parts of the state have been denied this benefit? For two years, step-motherly treatment is also being done in fund distribution. It seems that the citizens of Vidarbha are not important to the government. If there were, then the budget session would have been organized in the capital, in which the problems of Amazon would be discussed and the right decisions would be taken to solve them.
