Design and Features
Talking about the design, some important changes have been made in the Scrum 411 which sets it apart from the Himalayan. For example, while the Himalayan gets a long windscreen, the Scram 411 doesn’t get it. However, you can choose it as an accessory. Apart from this, it also gets a single-piece seat, a cast metal cowl around the headlamps, an offset speedometer, an aluminum sump guard etc. Royal Enfield has also redesigned the plastic bits around the fuel tank and it gets a new grarel. Under this, the company is offering a range of accessories including the Tripper Navigation Pod as a part of its ‘MiY’ (Make It Yours) customization program.

Along with this, the power and torque figures are also the same at 24.3 HP and 32 Nm respectively. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. For braking duties, it gets dual-channel ABS with 310 mm disc brake at the front and 240 mm disc unit at the rear. For suspension duties, it gets 41 mm telescopic front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. Also, it gets a smaller 19-inch front tire as compared to the 21-inch unit of the Himalayan. At the same time, its rear tire is of 17-inch unit. The new Royal Enfield Himalayan Scream 411 will compete directly with the Yezdi Scrambler. However, indirectly it will also compete with bikes like Bajaj Dominar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250.
