Former Spanish Football Association president Luis Rubiales – who kissed a participant on the Women’s World Cup last – has been banned from all football-related actions for 3 years, FIFA says.

Minutes after the kiss, Hermoso stated that she “didn’t like” it on a livestream, and on 25 August she launched a full assertion saying the kiss was not consensual.
Hermoso later stated in an interview on 10 October that she recollects hugging Rubiales and saying “we’ve done it”, just for him to say the crew received “thanks to her”.
