Talking about the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) segment, sales have increased marginally due to some new cars being launched this year. According to the data, MPV sales grew 3 per cent in July 2020 as compared to July 2019.
The Maruti Ertiga has become the best-selling MPV in the country. In July 2020, the company has sold 8,504 Maruti Ertiga cars. The Mahindra Bolero is the second best-selling MPV with sales of 4,360 units. The Renault Tribar is the third best-selling MPV with sales of 3,076 units.

At the same time, Toyota Innova Crysta’s July sales have fallen by 40 per cent over the previous year. Toyota Innova Crysta has sold 2,927 units. A total of 16 units of the Toyota Wellfire launched this year have been sold.

At the same time, SUV manufacturer Mahindra’s MPV cars also have lower sales. Only 20 units of Mahindra Marazzo are BK in July 2020. Marjo’s sales declined by 98 per cent. At the same time, one unit of Mahindra Xylo has not been sold.

Talking about other cars, sales of the best-selling hatchback cars in the country have also decreased. Sales of premium sedan and SUV cars have also fallen. Luxury companies such as Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz have also sold fewer cars.
