Uber has banned a driver after he was allegedly videoed along with his trousers down whereas subsequent to a younger lady behind a car.
A spokesperson for the ride-hailing app mentioned the tech firm was “horrified by what is depicted in the video”.
The agency additionally mentioned that it had launched an investigation and was “working directly” with the police.
The footage exhibits the younger lady within the backseat together with her head in her fingers as the motive force is seen pulling up his trousers and returning to the entrance seat.
The driver, who seems within the video to have a private-hire licence plate linked to Rochdale, is questioned by the individual filming the footage earlier than driving away from the scene.
In an announcement, Uber mentioned: “We are horrified by what is depicted in the video and are taking action.
“We have banned the motive force whereas we examine and are working instantly with the police.”
Greater Manchester Police is known to be “aware” of the video.
Rochdale MP Tony Lloyd mentioned he had requested the pressure to analyze the incident and that he anticipated a “very rapid investigation”.

“The safety of younger folks is paramount and this video must be investigated to provide the general public reassurance and to guard weak younger folks.”
