An individual has been arrested after a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old woman have been killed when a automobile hit a number of pedestrians within the West Midlands.
The youngsters have been pronounced useless on the scene in Oldbury after the collision involving a blue Nissan Skyline on Sunday evening.
A person and lady of their 20s are in hospital with life-threatening accidents following the incident on the A457 Birmingham Road and Oldbury Road, close to to the junction with Crystal Drive, at 11.30pm.
A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting dying by harmful driving and stays in custody, West Midlands Police mentioned.
Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes mentioned: “This is a tragic incident and our ideas stay with all of the households affected. We have specialist household liaison officers supporting them at this horrible time.
“We know that there were lots of people who had gathered in the area at the time of the collision and would have witnessed what happened. I would urge those people to get in touch if they haven’t already done so.
“I’d ask folks to not share movies or pictures on social media. If you could have something that might assist with our investigation, then please get in contact.
“This is very distressing for the families affected and it’s not appropriate for them to see things that could upset them on social media.
“I wish to thank everybody who has supplied an announcement to this point, and ask anybody else with dashcam footage or some other witnesses to contact us.”
