Two males have been arrested after a person was stabbed to demise exterior a mosque in Coventry.
West Midlands Police had been known as to the Jamiah Masjid & Institute simply after 9pm on Sunday after reviews of a combat involving a big group of males, some armed with knives.
Officers discovered two males who had been injured, together with a 52-year-old man who died a short while later.
A second man, aged 44, suffered a small stab wound.
A 56-year-old man was arrested by armed officers close by a short while later, whereas a second suspect aged 27 was arrested within the early hours of this morning.
Both males are being questioned on suspicion of homicide.

Detective Superintendent Shaun Edwards, overseeing the investigation, mentioned: “We’re supporting the family of the man who has died at what is a truly awful time for them, and our thoughts go out to them.

“We don’t believe this is linked to any other incidents or disputes either in Coventry or the wider West Midlands, and it appears to have been an isolated dispute which has ended in tragedy.”
