Turkey has carried out an airstrike in northern Iraq after a suicide bombing assault in capital Ankara, its defence ministry stated.
The airstrike destroyed 20 targets belonging to the Kurdish militant group PKK, which claimed duty for the bombing.
Earlier on Sunday, two cops have been injured in an assault in Ankara, hours earlier than parliament was scheduled to reopen after a three-month summer season recess.
