Sara Sharif’s father, stepmother and uncle have been arrested on suspicion of homicide in reference to the loss of life of the 10-year-old woman.
In a press release, Surrey Police detective superintendent Mark Chapman stated: “Two males, aged 41 years and 28 years, and a lady, aged 29 years, have been arrested on suspicion of homicide after disembarking a flight from Dubai.
“They are currently in custody and will be interviewed in due course.”
After being arrested they have been taken to Guildford police station.
The three arrived at Gatwick airport simply after 7.30pm on an Emirates flight from Pakistan, by way of Dubai.
