A person who died after being discovered unconscious in a South Lanarkshire avenue has been named by police as detectives proceed to analyze his homicide.
Robert Yuill, 33, was discovered injured in Smyllum Road, Lanark, at round 9.45am on Saturday.
Emergency providers attended however Mr Yuill, from the native space, was pronounced useless on the scene.
A homicide inquiry was subsequently launched by Police Scotland.
Detective Inspector Laura Sands mentioned: “Our thoughts remain with Robert Yuill’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
“We are offering his household with assist as our investigation continues to ascertain the complete circumstances of what occurred.”
