The 63-year-old star, from Stoke-on-Trent, had initially stepped away from darts after reaching the ultimate of the PDC World Championship in 2018.

He has spent the final two seasons on the senior tour the place he reached the quarter-finals in 2022 and 2023, however will intention to exit on a excessive in 2024.
