Keep in mind before taking the vaccine
- Corona patients can get vaccinated 3 months after being fully recovered.
- A patient living in an ICU with a disease will also be vaccinated after 3 months of becoming healthy.
- Those who have been treated through plasma therapy will also have to wait 3 months for the vaccine.
- Such people also get vaccinated after 3 months, which had become corona infected after the first vaccine.
- Do not go for vaccination without an appointment. All slots are booked through Covin registration.
- Breastfeeding women can also take the vaccine.
- One should not register oneself through many mediums.
- Antigen test is not necessary before taking the vaccine.
- No person should use different phone numbers and IDs for different platforms.
- Alcohol or any other intoxicants should not be consumed on the day of vaccination.
If you have taken the vaccine
- There is no need to register for another dose on Kovin.
- Should not be disturbed in the event of side effects of the vaccine.
- If you smoke cigarettes and alcohol, then keep away from it after getting the vaccine.
- Even after applying the first dose of the vaccine, apply the mask and follow the guidelines. Antibodies are made in the body only after applying both doses of the vaccine.
When can donate blood?
According to the guidelines, blood can be donated 14 days after taking the COVID vaccine. Similarly, if a corona is infected, blood can be donated 14 days after the report is negative. The Union Health Ministry has sent a letter to the states and Union Territories asking them to take cognizance of it. Also, take necessary steps to implement it effectively. States have been asked to give training to the vaccine employees as well.
