Demonstrators raised slogans while showing banners against China’s atrocities on the Uyghur community. The protesters also raised slogans against the Chinese Communist Party.

In France, the Uyghur community protested on Monday over reports of mistreatment of their fellow people in Xinjiang, China’s western region. The protest organized by the Association des Augurs de France was organized to raise awareness about the Genocide.
In a more than 30-minute-long video shared by the Association des Augurs de France on its Facebook page, protesters were seen waving the community’s blue flag and waving a ‘Terrorist China’ banner. The protesters also raised slogans against the atrocities committed by the Communist Party of China (CCP) against Uighurs.
France and Germany talking to China
Monday’s protest in France comes amid ongoing talks between President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chinese President Xi Jinping, discussing a range of regional and international issues, including the coronavirus. According to the news agency Bloomberg, an Elysee official told that both Macron and Merkel have raised the issue of the Chinese government’s action on the Uighur community. Pakistan, which claims itself to be a supporter of Muslims on the issue of Uighur Muslims, turns its back on China’s atrocities.
Pakistan’s ‘friend’ of China said on the question of Uighurs
Imran Khan had said in an interview recently that he is negotiating behind closed doors with Beijing on this issue regarding the atrocities being committed on Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang province of China. At the same time, in this interview, the knowledge of ‘Geography’ of the Pakistani PM was also insulted at the international level. Imran, surrounded by Uighurs, instead of speaking on this issue in the interview, started chanting the rage of Kashmir.
In this interview, when Imran Khan was asked that he raises the issue of Islamophobia in Western countries, but does not say anything about the atrocities on Uighur Muslims in China. Regarding this, Imran said, we are discussing this with China in a closed room. China has been our best friend in our most difficult times. When our economy was in trouble, China came forward to help us. Earlier, in an interview, Imran had cited economic ties with China when asked questions on Uighurs.
