The supervisor of Lyon has been injured after the group bus was attacked on its method to the stadium forward of a match in opposition to Marseille.
Footage on social media on Sunday night appeared to point out stones being thrown on the Lyon’s bus, with head coach Fabio Grosso pictured on a stretcher and with a bloodied face.
Some home windows have been shattered when the bus was hit on the best way to the Stade Velodrome.
The Ligue 1 match between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais was known as off after the incident.
Marseille issued a press release condemning the assault and wishing 45-year-old Italian Grosso properly.
“Olympique de Marseille deplores the unacceptable incidents which took place this evening around the Stade Velodrome, against the professional team bus as well as Olympique Lyonnais supporter buses,” the OM assertion learn.
“The membership needs a speedy restoration to Lyon coach Fabio Grosso and strongly condemns this violent behaviour which has no place on this planet of soccer and in society.
“Due to a handful of mindless people, the game planned for this evening was spoiled and deprived 65,000 supporters of attending a football match.”

The Lyon supervisor is a former Italy worldwide, having scored the profitable penalty kick within the shootout over France on the 2006 World Cup remaining.
Grosso joined Lyon as supervisor in September, changing Laurent Blanc.
But the group stays winless, sitting backside of the desk.
